Are you a photographer/videographer and your buddy seems to often wonder of while you are still taking that amazing shot? You often dive with unfamiliar buddies and dive trips? Or interested in solo diving perhaps? It doesn't take a way the benefits of the buddy system that you have learned in your previous courses, PADI Self-Reliant Diver course is what will prepare you to be a better diver. It is still better to have a buddy, but at least you will know how to look after yourself. This course will make you a more competent diver, also a better buddy. You will learn the importance of systematic self-checks and redundancy in your dive equipment. As with most of our courses you can start at any time and prepare yourself through selfstudy in advance by signing up for our program. We will send you the course materials and your instructor will answer all your questions. This way you will arrive perfectly prepared at the diveshop and learn first hand from your instructor about the equipment requirements, diveplanning, gas management and benefits of team diving. The PADI Self-Reliant Diver course is a perfect combination with the PADI Sidemount Diver course as 2-tank sidemount provides you with a perfectly redundant gassupply.
